David Ruiz and Monica Aguilera win the Everest Trail Race 2011

Lukla, 20 de novembre de 2011.- The Everest Trail Race 2011 has come to its final point with David Ruiz (WILD WOLF) in the men category, and with Mónica Aguilera (SALOMON-SANTIVERI OUTDOOR TEAM) in the women category, as winners of the first edition, which has been a whole success and has supposed a close relationship between runners and organization.

Participants shared with rain, snow and wind during the three first stages and with a radiant sun during the fifth stage, which allowed them to enjoy a fantastic spectacle when they were just passing by Everest, Lothse and Ama Dablam.

Fatigue for 160 kilometers and 25.000 meters of elevation gain and loss has not been an obstacle and all participants have lived moments of intense emotion at the race finish line in Lukla today.

First edition of the Everest Trail Race comes to its end and Adeaventura.com, the first Spanish company that organizes a competition of this type, has fulfilled its previous aim.

23 Spanish, 1 French and 2 Nepalese runners have obtained a relevant sports success during the 6 race days and more than 200 persons involved in the organization (Spanish and Nepalese staff, sherpas, porters, cooks, assistants, etc …) have obtained a great teamwork success.
