CHenanai hosted this weekend the popular Dream Runners Half Marathon (DRHM). DRHM Half Marathon Soji Mathew took top spot in 01:09:45. He bested Issac Kipkemoi who crossed the finish line 4 minutes 36 seconds behind him. Nagesh Pawar got the third place in 01:15:15. In the ladies race, Nancy Waigumo Githaiga took top honors by finishing the race in 01:29:10 , ahead of E.Vasanthamani . (01:42:02). Finishing third was Shobana Raghavan (01:42:07). Half Marathon results Mathew Soji defended his Dream Runners Half Marathon title in Tamil Nadu, India with a time of 1:12:11. Soji shaved more than a minute from his 2014 time to beat nearly 1,500 runners in the race through the coastal city of Chennai. Runner-up M. Jegadheesan (1:18:01) cut close to nine minutes from his seventh-place finish a year ago. Harikrishnan finished third with a time of 1:18:46. For the women, it was Morita Kanako in convincing fashion. Her mark of 1:35:08 was 11 minutes better than that of second-place finisher Sudhajayakumar Sudha (1:46:08).
