The 17th edition of the race going from Cancale to the world renowned Mont Saint-Michel in France took place this weekend.
Marius Kipserem won the men’s race in 02:10:56. He is followed by Elijah Keitany and Peter Kororia who finish the race in 02:12:18 and 02:15:27.
Kipserem had already won the Milano City Marathon in 2013 (2:09:50 – record) and the Brescia Art Marathon en 2012 (2:13:02).
In the women’s race, Irene Mogaka crossed the finish line in 02:43:25, with a 9 second lead over her fellow Kenyan Silva Jebet (02:43:34). Anaïs Suard took the third place in 02:55:32.
2,869 finished the race this year. 3,432 were registered and 3,005 actually were on the start line in Cancale.

The 18th edition of the Marathon de la Baie du Mont Saint-Michel will take place on May 30th and 31st 2015.
