With close to 19 000 finishers, the Copenhagen’s half marathon secured its place among Europe’s most popular half marathons.
The victory went to James Mwangi Wangari who crossed the finish line at 00:59:07 . Stephen Kosgei Kibet secured second in this year’s race with a time of 00:59:28. Albert Kangogo got the third place in 00:59:29.
For the women, Hiwot Gebrekidan Gebremaryam finished first in 01:08:00 , ahead of Eunice Chebichii Chumba (01:08:04). Rounding out the top three was Veronicah Nyaruai Wanjiru with a time of 01:08:06.
