Results 2019: New World Record at the Copenhagen Half Marathon

Geoffrey Kamworor grinded past more than 22779 runners to win in 00:58:01, establishing the new world record for the distance. He bested Benard Kipkorir Ngeno who crossed the finish line une minute 15 secondes behind him. The third place went to Berehanu Wendemu Tsegu with a time of 00:59:22

For the women, it was Birhane Dibaba Adugna who took the top spot in 01:05:57 . Evaline Chirchir earned runner-up honours with a time of 01:06:22. Finishing third was Dorcas Jepchirchir Tuitoek (01:06:36).
