Half Marathon results
Steve Dekoker (1:10:04) held off more than 700 runners to win the Kelowna Wine Country Half Marathon in British Columbia, Canada.
Nicholas Browne (1:11:22) beat out Brad Bickley (1:11:57) by 35 seconds to take second in the run from the vineyard, orchards and fields of East Kalowna to the waterfront of Okanagan Lake.
Local 14-year-old boy Jacob Harris finished eighth (tenth overall).
For the women, it was Erin Burrett (1:15:43) finishing fifth overall and first among females.
Coming in behind Burrett was 2013 and 2014 winner Kimberly Doerksen (1:18:01) in second (seventh overall).
Lisa Heidt (1:26:10) rounded out the top three with a time of 1:26:10.
