SEB Mud Run

The annual SEB Mud Run has Finally Returned!

After a several-year hiatus, the annual Mud Run hosted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Elite Special Enforcement Bureau has returned better than ever. Come get muddy with us as you trek your way through a 5-mile mud course made up of a wide variety of obstacles. 

Bring the kids to enjoy a live demonstration put on by the Special Weapons Team (SWAT) and a 1-mile fun run through the mud! (must be registered to participate in the 1-mile run)

Individual registration is required for the event, no matter the category you are participating in. Pre-registration is free for current LASAA members and $60 for non-LASAA members. "Day of" registrations will be $20 for LASAA members and $80 for non-LASAA members. Registration for kids to participate in the Kids' Fun Mud Run will be $20. All registrants will receive a free Mud Run Tank Top. 

Categories for the event include:

Open Individual - 16-39 yrs old, Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers to be recognized. (The full course is challenging and not recommended for ages under 16 years old.) 

Masters - 40-49 yrs old. Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers to be recognized. 

Grand Masters - 50+ years old. Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers to be recognized. 

Kids 1 Mile Fun Mud Run 

(Special Category) Station Deepest Roll- Specific to LA County Sheriff's Department Patrol Stations. Patrol Station, with the largest turnout, and overall showing of station pride, will receive the Special Enforcement Bureau's "Deepest Roll" award. 

Awards will directly follow the end of the run. 

Food will be available for sale at the event, as well as merchandise from the Special Enforcement Bureau and other Vendors. 

Showers/rinse-off stations and bathrooms will be available. Changing Tent area available. 

Suggested Items to bring after the race:

*Soap, shampoo, a Towel, a clean pair of shoes, and a change of clothes

Race Info

Location:   Pitchess Detention Center

          Parking and Starting Line near the Jack Bones Equestrian Center at 26983 Tapia Canyon Rd, Castaic, CA 91384

          (Signs and Assistance will be available on where to park and how to get to the registration/start line). 

Date/Time:  Registration and Check-in Starts at 0530hrs. 

              Live Demo by Special Weapons Team at 0700hrs. 

                        Kids Fun Mud Run starts at 0715Hrs. 

           Registration and Check-in closes at 0730hrs.

            Open and Competitive Individuals start time at 0800hrs. (If competing, please line up towards the front of the pack)

            Stations and large non-competitive groups will be released in waves every 5-10mins based on the number of participants. 

 

Attire: Traditional Mud Run attire is encouraged! Boots, Pants, and a Mud Run Tank! 

           However, participants may wear any athletic attire they like.
