Firecracker 5k and Fun Run

The Rotary Club of Brevard held a successful running event featuring 238 participants and significant community involvement. The event showcased cooperation with local organizations, including the fire and police departments, and featured volunteers assisting runners. The club uses funds from such events to support various community projects, including building a futsal soccer field, running the RotaryTRAIN program, and supporting education initiatives. The club, led by President Mike Dexter-Smith and other key members, continues to plan future activities while focusing on tackling issues like homelessness, education, and rural internet access.
