Firecrackerfrolic 5k

Welcome to the 33rd Easley FireCracker Frolic 5k presented once again by the Easley Lions Club!

The Easley Lions Club has been serving the Easley Community for over 84 years! One of our missions was given to the Lions in 1924 by Helen Keller who ask the Lions to serve the blind. We pay for eye exams and glasses for those in the Easley Community who are unable to do so. All monies raised by the Firecracker Frolic go to this fund after expenses of the race. Many of our clients have been children and elderly. 

The Firecracker Frolic is a RED, White and Blue Family Fun Event! Yes we do give out unusual prizes and have drawings for more unusual gifts.

The race is run on the friendly streets of Easley SC. Yes, there are a few hills, but they are not daunting and there is also the down slope! We have Lions to point the way at intersections and monitor the race. Wear your RED WHITE AND BLUE...You can run you and walk!!! 

Note that the course is not a closed course and there could be cars on the roads but our early start, 7:30 AM usually mitigates that.  In the event of rain the race will still be run but if there is lighting the race start would be delayed until safe.

After the race we give out awards to the top 3 women and men. The age groups are the standards you find in most 5k events. 

If you miss registration online, we will be at Academy Sports Rolling Hills Circle Easley, SC from 4 PM until 7 PM for packet pick up and registration. Registration will also be open race morning 6:30 AM until 7:15 AM. A MAP OF THE COURSE IS LOCATED ON THE FACEBOOK PAGE FOR THE FIRECRACKER FROLIC...
