4th of July 5K - Punta Gorda, FL

Babcock Ranch is excited to announce our 4th of July 5K Run/Walk.   The course is a scenic 3.1 miles around Babcock Ranch, starting and finishing in Founder's Square.    Race Start Time: 7:30 a.m. at Founders Square.   Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup: 6:30-7:15 am. Walk-in registrations are acceptable on the day of the race. Only credit cards, Apple Pay, and checks are accepted. Registration closes at 7:15 a.m. sharp. Make checks payable to Babcock Ranch.    Post-race snacks are available after the race.    Overall Awards: There will be an in-person awards ceremony. If you don't stay for your award, you are responsible for coordinating with Babcock Ranch on when you will get it. Awards/shirts will not be shipped to participants.  Overall awards to the Male & Female finishers in the following categories - 1st Place Overall.  Masters (40+), Grand Masters (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+), Veteran Grand Masters (70+). These are the runners who cross the finish line first in the respective category.   EARLY Packet Pickup date/time: July 1st - July 2nd from 9 am- 6 pm  Shirt Cutoff Date: June 21st, 2024    Water Stations: Located at the halfway mark on the course and at the end of the finish line. Rest Rooms: Located next to the Start Line. Parking: Free parking is available in parking areas near Founder's Square.   Frequently Asked Questions:   Q: Is this a timed race?

A: The course is a mixture of asphalt, hard-packed shell, and mulch. Q: Are dogs allowed on the course? 
A: You may run with your dog, but you assume ALL responsibility for your dog. You must maintain proper social distancing and pick up after your pooch.  Q: Are strollers allowed on the course? 
A: Yes Q: Is the course good for spectators?
