About the event

The 7 Bridges Marathon is Chattanooga's premier running event, celebrated for its scenic course that spans seven iconic bridges over the Tennessee River. The 7 Bridges Marathon kicks off at Coolidge Park, near the iconic Big Blue Rhino and the Chattanooga Theatre on Tremont Avenue. The course gracefully spans four downtown bridges and three enhanced bridges on the North Chick Greenway. The marathon is known for its lively environment, complete with a live DJ, food, and more, making it a celebration for both participants and spectators.

Course highlights

The course starts and ends near the Chattanooga Theatre on Tremont Avenue. The course is road, concrete, and asphalt. Aid stations and bathroom facilities are available almost every mile.
