Awesome Opener 4 Mile - 2018 Season Kick Off Race!

New race, new location (for us at least), and new structure!   All 2018 Awesome Events premier events will have a finish award, race shirt, and an awesome experience!

We are so excited to start our 2018 race season off with the Awesome Opener at the Trout Island Tail in Sharpsville, PA.  This race will start at the trail head on N. Mercer Avenue (one block east of Country Fair).  The course is 2 miles out and back on the scenic Trout Island Trail.  

We are extra excited to forge a new relationship with the Mercer County Trails Association on this race.  A portion of the event proceeds and any donations collected from this race will be given to MCTA to help them build and maintain our local Rails to Trails in Mercer County.

PARKING:  Limited on street parking is available around the start like and surrounding areas.  Parking is permitted in the shopping center with just a short walk up to the start line.

AWARDS:  Top 3 Male and Female Overall;  Top 3 Male and Female in each Age Group  (15 and Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-64, 65+)

EXTRAS:   Pre-Registered Event Shirts and Finish Medals, Post Race refreshments, and lots of fun!

TIMING:  This event will be manual bib timed unless pre-registration goes over 100 registrations.  

SEASON PASS:  For those of you that took advantage of the 2018 Awesome Events Season Pass, this is event #1 of 5!
