The 10th annual Shamrock 'N Run is a lively 5k Run/Walk benefit race hosted by the PHN Charitable Foundation. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a lively stroll, there's something for everyone at the Shamrock 'N Run! We invite you to be part of the festivities at LTI’s Sharon location, 200 Sterling Avenue, Sharon, PA, on March 9, 2024, for an experience you won’t want to miss!

 

Picture yourself starting the spirited race at LTI on Connelly Boulevard, winding through the charming streets of downtown Sharon. The exhilarating journey leads you back to LTI for a post-race celebration, featuring the prestigious "Oranges and Greens Breakfast of Champions" buffet, live performances by the talented Burke School of Irish Dancing, and the captivating tunes of Bagpiper Ross Williams.

Here's the twist | The fastest 5 scores from each team will be considered, and the team with the overall best score upon crossing the finish line will be crowned our Team Winner. Plus, don't forget, that your individual score is not only eligible for the top finishers in all categories but also contributes to the men's, women's, and non-binary overall rankings.

 

But that's not all! | Teams have a shot at some fantastic prizes. Get your creative juices flowing for the chance to win the Most Creative Team Name award. Additionally, if your team rallies the most participants, you could be the proud recipient of the Team with the Most Participants prize.

Shamrock 'N Run 2024 | Registration & Pricing

Online Registration will be available until Friday, March 8th, 11:59 PM. You may also register on the day of the event between 8:00 am & 9:00 am at Laurel Technical Institute in Sharon, PA. Early bird registration discounts are available, and the pricing schedule is listed below, so secure your spot now!

Shamrock 'N Run 2024 | Race Information

For 2024, the event will start at 10:00 a.m. at LTI’s Sharon Satellite location at 200 Sterling Avenue. To ensure all participants have a great race, please line up according to your anticipated race pace within your registration.

5k | This is built for those in the group who plan to run the entire race. Only participants in the 5k will receive a timing chip.

Just Walk | This is built for those who don't care about their time, as they will not receive a timing chip or finisher's time. If your plan is to just walk with family and friends and support PHN Charitable Foundation, then this option is for you! If you register for this choice, please line up toward the rear of the race. Joggers will not receive a timing chip.

Parking | Ample parking will be available in LTI’s parking lot. Overflow will be directed to park in the Save-A-Lot parking lot across from LTI located on S. Water Ave.

Wednesday, March 6th | Packet Pick Up at PHN Charitable Foundation | Community Board Room located at 55 Pitt St. Sharon, PA 16146 from 9:00 am – 6:00 PM.

Saturday, March 9th | Race Day:

10:00 AM - 5k & Just Walk event start

10:45 - 11:30 AM - Post Race Food & Award Ceremony

After you 5k or Just Walk your fun is just beginning! Located at the finish line you will be greeted with live bagpipe music, traditional Irish music, food, and of course our Shamrock 'N Run Leprechaun!

If you are not a race participant but would like to join us for the breakfast and entertainment the price is $10 per person.
