Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running

Come to the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running on 1 October 2023 and experience one of the world's most stunning marathons. The iconic course winds its way along Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland, beginning in a moorland setting and traveling along the banks of the River Ness until it reaches the Highland capital of Inverness. For those who don't want to take part in the full marathon, there is the River Ness 10K, 5K, and Wee Nessie Kids' Race. Or if you prefer to relax and take in the atmosphere, there's an expo, runners' cafe, street food, live music, pipes & drums, and family friendly activities. The area is full of things to do, from challenging hill walks and kayaking, to dolphin spotting boat trips and distillery visits.
