Beaufort River Swim and 5K Run

The Beaufort River Swim offers a variety of endurance sports activities, designed to support the YMCA's Learn to Swim program. Participants can choose between swim-only or swim/run events in the scenic Beaufort River, known for its mild to warm water and a course lined with safety personnel. The event is without race awards for relay options, although top performers in individual and combined categories receive recognition. The race ensures a high safety standard, facilitated by the Beaufort Search and Rescue Squadron, and prohibits swim-enhancing equipment to maintain fairness and safety. Proceeds benefit community swimming initiatives.
