About the event
Our Energy for Life Walk/Run (EFL) is one of 20 events across the country. Every dollar raised at Energy for Life events helps fund mitochondrial disease research, education, and advocacy, while supporting and connecting mito families.
Last year, Energy for Life events like the one right here in St. Louis brought in over $500,000 - money that is critical in helping chart the course toward mitochondrial disease treatments and eventual cure.

7:30 am - Runner Registration, Bib & T-Shirt Pickup
8:30 am - 5K Run Starts
8:30 am - Walker Registration, Music, Activities
10:00 am - Opening Ceremony & Runner Awards
10:30 am - 1 Mile Walk Starts
11:30 am - Closing Ceremony
