SAME GREAT COURSE BUT A NEW START AND FINISH LOCATION. START AND FINISH AT EAST BEACH FOR 2022.
The race is totally on paved roads with no running on sand/beach.
HALF MARATHON ONE LOOP OF THE COURSE. FULL MARATHON TWO LOOPS.

Galveston Marathon & Half Marathon
The Galveston Marathon is back
After 21 years, the Galveston Marathon is back on the running calendar to celebrate the 2011 Mardi Gras. The race will start at 7:30 in the historic Strand district, tour much of Galveston Island and finish in the Strand with a great postrace party with live music. The Texan island will host two races : a marathon and a half marathon.
