Lema Trail

Experience the thrilling Raiffeisen Lema Trail, an exhilarating uphill race from the charming village of Miglieglia in Malcantone to the summit of Monte Lema. This majestic peak, nestled between the lakes of Lugano and Maggiore and the valleys of Luino, rises to 1624 meters, offering a sweeping vista over Italian Switzerland and beyond. While a modern cable car provides a quick 10-minute ascent to Monte Lema's summit, revealing breathtaking vistas along the way, those embarking on the trail by foot will experience a more extended adventure. The race embarks from near the cable car station and includes ample free parking. Participants will begin on an asphalt path before immersing themselves in the natural terrain. The course ascends approximately 950 meters, culminating at the Monte Lema summit, weather permitting.
