LIVESTRONG at the YMCA 4k & 1mile walk/run

The Summerville Family YMCA is excited to host the 2nd Annual LIVESTRONG at the YMCA 4k & 1mile walk/ run.  LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a program offered at no cost for adult cancer survivors to assist those living with, through or beyond cancer to strengthen their spirit, mind, and body.

Join us on November 23th at the Golf Course at Wescott Plantation to support and honor those battling cancer.  All proceeds fund LIVESTRONG at the YMCA and will help us continue to serve cancer survivors in our community.

Please select if you are a cancer survivor or supporter.  All race bibs will display the wording survivor or supporter depending on the race selection. 

Race participants ages 5 and up will receive a t-shirt and medal. Shirt size not guaranteed after November 10th. 

Participants 4 and under will receive a medal only.

RACE DAY INFORMATION

Race date: November 23
-Race begins at 4pm
-Post-race snacks will be available provided by: Lowe's Foods
-The race will conclude with a candle lighting ceremony to honor those currently battling cancer, survivors and those we've lost. This will take place between 4:45pm and 5pm.
-While this is not a timed race, the first participant to cross the finish line will receive a gift basket from Fleet Feet!

*The LIVESTRONG at the YMCA 4k/1 mile is a fundraising event to support LIVESTRONG at the YMCA.  Due to this, there will be no refunds for non-participation.
