Run this scenic 3.1-mile course on historic downtown streets through the heart of Rochester and the world famous Mayo Clinic campus. Whether you are going for your personal 5K best, competing to have the largest workplace team involved or planning to enjoy the landscape and architectural beauty of the buildings around you, this is the event for you.

The Mayo Clinic Healthy Human Half Marathon has been designated as the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) State Championship Half Marathon for the state of Minnesota! This 13.1-mile course begins in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, and runs through the historic Mayo Clinic campus before transitioning to bike paths and running trails adjacent to Cascade Creek, Cascade Lake, Bamber Lake, Bear Creek, and the Zumbro River. You’ll experience it all on this one course: neighbors cheering on the city streets, geese floating on the lakes and rivers; the cool silence of the deep forest and the roar of the crowds at the Start and the Finish.

This 13.1-mile course has been broken into 2 parts for relay teams. The first team member will run 6.7 miles beginning in downtown Rochester, Minnesota, through the historic Mayo Clinic campus, onto bike paths and running trails before reaching the relay exchange area near the History Center of Olmsted County. From the exchange area, the second team member will run 6.4 miles on trails and bike paths before finishing at the Mayo Civic Center in downtown Rochester. Each team member will experience woods and waterways including Cascade Creek, Cascade Lake, Bamber Lake, Bear Creek, and the Zumbro River. It's all available on this one course: neighbors cheering on the city streets, geese floating on the lakes and rivers; the cool silence of the deep forest and the roar of the crowds at the Start and the Finish.
