Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic 5K & 1.5 M Fun Run (Tucson's Original Turkey Trot!)

The Thanksgiving Cross Country Classic offers a European-style course at Reid Park, featuring grass, dirt, and hay-bales. The event includes a 5K race with separate options for women and an open category, as well as a shorter fun run. Awards are given to overall, age group, and team winners. Strollers are welcome, with designated bypass lanes. The event benefits Team Hoyt Arizona and Toys for Tots, and participants are encouraged to donate toys. Cotton T-shirts are available for participants while supplies last. The 5K is part of The Running Shop SAR Grand Prix series.
