The Art of 5K

Details: Creativity runs free through downtown Lafayette the evening before ArtWalk on May 11, 2019. The first annual Art of 5K benefiting AcA’s Arts-in-Education Programming will take place through art-filled downtown and the surrounding neighborhoods of Lafayette, LA. The event is another way to support AcA’s work in bringing the arts to students in 77 public schools in Lafayette, St. Landry, and Vermilion Parishes. We encourage ArtWalk-goers of all ages to run or walk through the heart of our community on this fun-filled evening. The event includes a T-shirt, music, food, and drinks. Race day registration will be available on-site starting at 3:00 pm. Race day registration increases to $40   Age Groups: 13 and Younger, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up   Awards: Prizes will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd male and female finishers in the overall category. Medals will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd male and female finishers in each age category
