We cordially invite you to participate as a Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Mount Airy Unity Race and Walkathon.  This event is sponsored by the Men’s Catholic Association of Holy Cross Parish, 140 E. Mt. Airy Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19119 and has been organized as a fundraiser for the Year of Mercy and to promote Mt. Airy’s historical significance as one of the first successfully integrated neighborhoods in America during these turbulent times. We are encouraging everyone to join us in this healthy activity whose goal is to continue to breathe energy into a tradition of community action to counter discrimination and predatory practices that drive wedges in neighborhoods. And to celebrate unified and positive efforts that emphasize cohesion and diversity, retaining our legacy and own identity as a stable racially, socially and economically integrated community, quite unlike any other.
