Spring Into Spring 4 Miler

The Spring Into Spring 4 Miler is the perfect early season distance. Join the Lynchburg Road Runners on the Blackwater Creek Bikeway for the 2nd event of the 2018 LRRC Race Series. This out & back course is open to both runners & walkers and begins at Mile Mark 3 near Amazement Square. Proceeds support the Lynchburg Daily Bread.

Start/Finish:
Mile mark #3 on the Blackwater Creek Bikeway. Access via the parking lot behind Amazement Square (27 9th Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504)

Course:
Out and back on the Blackwater Creek Bikeway. Course start/finish at 3 Mile Mark. Course runs through train tunnel and follows path to Kemper Street Entrance (2.0 miles). Participants follow bikeway back to start.

REGISTRATION:
$25 (January 1st - April 8, 2018) || $30 (April 9 - 19, 2018) || $35 (April 20 - 21, 2018)

Registration fees are non-tranferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.

Lynchburg Road Runners Club Member Discount: A $5.00 discount is available to current Lynchburg Road Runners Club members. Discounts will not be given after March 4th. Participant membership must be current with LRRC membership roster found on RunSignUp. Discount will be given at checkout automatically. Refunds and discounts will not be given after completing online race registration.

Please note: A LRRC discount is valid only for participants whose membership is current on race day (4/21/2018). Assisted Participants:
We are pleased to provide an opportunity for assisted participants to enjoy race day. An assisted participant is typically being pushed in a stroller "appropriate" for the event (ie.. hand break, tether, appropriate wheels). Both the participant being pushed and the pusher are required to register for this event. Assisted participants will start prior to the start and be ranked separately from the event. Both the pusher and assisted participant should indicate this classification during the registration process for our planning purposes.

AGE GROUPS:
12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up. Age Group ranking based on "chip" time.

AWARDS:
Top 3 Overall M/F, Top Overall Masters M/F, Top 3 in each age group. Overall awards ranked on "gun" time / Age group results ranked on "chip" time.
*This is a Chip timed event, Disposable MyLaps Race Bib Technology will be used.

TSHIRTS:
T-shirts guaranteed to those registered by Wednesday April 11th. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on an first-come basis at packet pickup.
