About the event

On September 10th and 11th, we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary with a weekend full of running events! Richmond RUNFEST, located in South West London, will consist of six different races ranging from 10K to marathon, 10,000 runners, a music stage, and a fitness expo. We provide amazing male and female tech shirts, chunky triangle medals, and a free beer for all runners! We will be beginning our Richmond Half Marathon and Marathon within the majestic Kew Gardens, and our Richmond AIR 10K will include a performance-enhancing musical tour guide. Additionally, our 2012 Olympic legacy pledge includes a series of kids mile races for over 1,000 children at Old Deer Park, followed by the Visit Cayman Islands SUNDOWN 5K run and after-party. Our events are beginner friendly and locally organised in Richmond Upon Thames.

Nike Kids Mile and 500m starts at the finish line festival to the adult races- the Richmond Half Marathon and Kew Gardens 10k. The course circulates around the finish festival where there is the Richmond Fitness Expo, food vendors, beer and champagne garden, live bands playing throughout the day, the Kids Fun Zone and the 'Join In UK' sports demo court.

Each child runners is rewarded a t-shirt, cool medal with olympians on hand to sign autographs.

Course highlights

Multi-terrain: Flat and fast! All on road and path inside Kew Gardens before running along the Thames Towpath. Please expect to run on flat path, road, gravel and grass during the 13.1 miles. The course is flat as a pancake.

Richmond Marathon Nick Farl got a win, finishing with a time of 02:32:33. Rupert Allison earned runner-up honours with a time of 02:48:07. Rounding out the top three was Adam Roberts with a time of 02:51:51. For the women, Melissah Gibson took top honours by finishing the race in 02:59:51 , ahead of Olga Klenovskaya (03:02:10). Lizzy Totten got the third place in 03:08:13.
