A Race for the Rest of Us

Senior & Disability Services is hosting "A Race for the Rest of Us," benefiting the Senior Meals Program, which supports Lane County seniors. The event features a short distance race both in-person and virtually, allowing global participation. Participants receive a T-shirt, medal, and race sticker, with proceeds supporting the program. The race is inclusive, accommodating walkers, runners, wheelchair users, and even dogs. Seniors registering receive a discounted fee. The Senior Meals Program provides meals and social connections to help maintain the independence of adults aged 60 and up in Lane County through its Cafe 60 sites and Meals on Wheels service.
