Bizz Johnson Trail Marathon

Experience the thrill of a fast, downhill course, perfect for setting new personal records and qualifying for prestigious events. Begin your journey along the historic Bizz Johnson Trail, winding through the scenic Lassen National Forest. The course takes you through the mesmerizing Susan River Canyon, showcasing striking orange cliffs and numerous picturesque river crossings on wooden railroad bridges. Participants run through historic railroad tunnels as part of the route. Enjoy two exciting half marathons offered, with unique starts and finishes and the newly introduced Express Half Marathon Relay. The full marathon course is USAT&F certified, ensuring an exceptional experience.
