Children's Memorial Walk

Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse is hosting our very first Children's Memorial Walk, an event that is designed to raise awareness, promote healing to families and educate everyone about child loss, all the while, honoring the children that have gone before us.

This event will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 on the Gold Star Memorial Trail.

Starting at: Horicon Marsh Education Center (Start of the Memorial Walk be before the balloon arch at the Education Center).

Ending at: Theiler Park in Mayville (Kid's Carnival To Follow; 12pm-4pm)

The route is 2.7 Miles total; estimating about 1-1.5 hour to complete. 

This Fundraiser is to benefit Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse:

Bo's Heavenly Clubhouse is a nonprofit charity organization that is dedicated to helping families that are suffering with the death of their child. Whether that child died in utero or if that child was 30 years old. The stories are vastly different, every single time. But one common denominator is the fact that these families are missing their children. All of them. Every single one.

Bo's hosts Child Loss Support Groups at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. We send Care Packages that consist of child loss books, workbooks, journals, Bibles, coloring books, stress balls, tissues, candles and more, to families free of charge. We also help with funeral expenses for children that have died that are 18 years old and younger in Wisconsin.

EVENT DETAILS:

Registration: $30 per household OR $20 single person registrant

T-Shirts will be for sale at the event.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS- Saturday, August 21, 2021:

8:00 AM Registration & Check In

9:45AM: Welcome Message

10:00 AM: Memorial Walk Start

11:00/12:00: Kid's Carnival at Theiler Park in Mayville

(Where food/drink will be available for purchase, kids carnival games, face painting, music and DJ fun!)

4:00: End of Event
