Circles on a Mission Bicycle Ride is an opportunity for First United Methodist Church DeRidder, LA to raise money for local, state, and international organizations. Mission projects supported by Circles on a Mission include God’s Food Box, Agape Community Center, Wesley Foundation at McNeese State University, June Jenkins Women’s Shelter, Beauregard Christian Women’s Job Corps, UMCOR Sager Brown Depot, Dulac Community Center, Louisiana Methodist Children’s Homes, United Methodist Cambodia Missions, and Camp URC.

Wednesday, May 25th will be a special day for children to participate in Circles on a Mission Bicycle Ride. Police escort will provide safety for a 1/2-mile route and a 5-mile route. The start time is 5:30 p.m. from the Wesley Campus at 701 N. Texas Street, DeRidder, La. The first 50 children to register will receive a free t-shirt, finisher medal and other swag. Hot dogs and drinks will be available for the participants and their family members.
Please make sure your child has a properly fitting helmet and a bicycle that is working safely. If you need help transporting a bicycle, please call the First United Methodist DeRidder office at 337-463-4491.
