Doughnut Run (Donut Run)

The Donut Run is a unique race where participants are rewarded for eating donuts during the event. Held annually at Ada Hayden Heritage Park in Ames, Iowa, runners can deduct time from their finish by consuming donuts at aid stations. However, the Chucky rule resets a participant's count if they lose their donuts before finishing. Awards are given for Best Run Time, Best Donut Adjusted Time, Most Donuts Eaten, and Best Costume in both men's and women's categories.
