EVENT OVERVIEW
This festive, Easter-themed beach run was established in 1967 by the City of Daytona Beach. The race was first held on Easter Sunday to provide an activity for visiting college students and is now the oldest consecutive footrace in the State of Florida.
Participants will enjoy a scenic run on the World’s Most Famous Beach while traveling out and back for the 4-mile race, 2-mile fun run or health walk. Kids are also welcome to participate in the 1/4-mile race, 100 and 50-yard dash.

Fees:
2-mile or 4-mile Race Registration - $35 - Seniors 60 & Over $30
2-mile or 4-mile Race Registration - $40 After March 31st - Seniors 60 & Over $35

Kids races (50yd/100yd/1/4 mile) -$20 Entry- after March 31st $20.00 Entry Fee
*Note: Youth wanting to participate in a kid’s race and the 2-mile or 4-mile race, will need to register for both separately at $20 each to participate ($40 total).

AWARDS
2023 custom “finisher” medals for the first 800 registered runners and walkers completing the race.
4 mile Age Groups: Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female - 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each age group 11 & Under, 12-17, 18-34, 35-49, 50-59,60-69, 70-74,75-79, 80+
2 mile Age Groups: - 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each age group 8 & Under, 9-11, 12-17, 18-34, 35-49, 50-64, 65-79, 80+
Kids Races
Each “Kids Race” participant receives a participant medal!
Award ceremonies will be held at the bandshell following each race. Results will be available online beginning race day.
Awards not picked up race day may be picked up weekdays at the CODB Parks & Recreation Administrative office for 30 days after the race. Awards will be mailed if requested with a $10 check to CODB Attention Katie Preswood Parks & Recreation - P.O. Box 2451 Daytona Beach, FL 32115.
PARKING
Parking is available in the Ocean Center Garage across from the Ocean Walk Shoppes on A1A. Additional parking available City of Daytona Beach lots, metered spots on city streets and in private lots on A1A near Main Street.
