Elkhart Education Foundation Ugly Sweater Run

The Elkhart Education Foundation is excited to host the  annual Ugly Sweater 5K Run or Walk and 1 Mile Sweater Stroll.This is a fun-filled event for the entire family! Even your leashed dog is welcome to join us (don't forget your furry friend's ugly sweater too!).

Enjoy hot-chocolate and Christmas cookies at the finish line!  Prizes will be awarded for best dressed, top 3 Overall Male/Female as well as fastest male and female in each of 15 age divisions!  Note: The Stroll is not timed, so there are not placement awards for that event.

The race is a kickoff to Elkhart's Winterfest which includes a series of events, including Breakfast with Santa put on by the Elkhart Fire Department starting at 8:00 am to noon!  In the evening, there is a holiday parade, tree lighting, music -something for everyone. Sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

This is a fundraiser for the Elkhart Education Foundation.

Check-in and packet pickup / Onsite Registration begins on Friday, December 1 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm  at Elkhart Health & Aquatics in the Community Meeting Rooms and Saturday, December 2 at NIBCO Water and Ice Park

Top three overall Male/Female in the 5K. 15 Age groups awards to the fastest in each for MF.  Costume awards!  Get in on the fun!

We need a lot of volunteers. Maybe you have a friend or spouse who just isn't into running OR you want to help AND run/walk in the event!  Good news! There are a lot of options! Check out the link above!
