Firecracker 5k Run (SS Summer Series)

The Firecracker 5K is part of the Seashore Strider Championship Series, taking place in Rehoboth Beach. Organized by Seashore Strider Event Production, Inc., this annual event supports local charities and individuals in need. The race features a flat and fast course and utilizes chip timing. Participants can register online or by mail, with options for early, pre, and race-day registration. Awards are given to top finishers in various categories, and post-race amenities include an awards ceremony. A new trial 5K walk division has been added to select series events to encourage wider participation.
