Half on the Head - Kerryhead Half Marathon & 10k Run

The Half on the Head offers a scenic, 13.1-mile route around the breathtaking Kerryhead loop, starting and finishing in Ballyheigue Village. As you run along one of the most unspoiled sections of the Wild Atlantic Way, you'll be treated to stunning views of the Shannon Estuary, the rugged Kerry coastline, and the town of Ballybunion. A highlight of the route is the sweeping panorama of Tralee Bay, with Mount Brandon and the Maherees as your backdrop. As you reach the point of Kerryhead, the course levels out before taking a steeper descent back to the village, offering runners a mix of gradual climbs and exhilarating downhill stretches.
