Highland All-American Mile - Highland, IN

This annual chip-timed, one-mile race welcomes athletes of all ages and kicks off Highland’s Twilight Independence Day Parade. The USATF-certified course offers a challenging yet exciting run for competitors.Awards will be given to the top overall male and female, top male and female masters (40 and over), the top three finishers in each age division, as well as the top three Clydesdales (men 210 lbs and over) and top three Athenas (women 170 lbs and over). Each participant is eligible for only one award. Additionally, the male who runs the fastest sub 4-minute mile and the female who runs the fastest sub 4:50 mile will each take home $750.

This race is part of the prestigious Calumet Striders Gold Cup Series! Age groups are segmented as follows: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

The race will commence at the intersection of 40th and Kennedy Ave. in Highland, proceed north on Kennedy Ave., turn east at Highway Ave., and conclude at Main Square Park.

Registration fees are as follows:
- Pre-registered: $15 (early registration guarantees a shirt)
- Race day registration: $20 (cash and check only)

Race day registration and packet pickup will be available from 5 PM to 6:15 PM at the school administration building (9145 Kennedy Ave).
