Palmetto Running Company presents the 8th annual Hilton Head Freedom 5K run & walk held on Memorial Day, May 29th, 2023 at beautiful Port Royal Plantation on Hilton Head Island. The Freedom 5K is a great opportunity to honor those among us who have served in the armed forces with a fun, family friendly event. Run with the American flag, dress in your patriotic best Red, White & Blue maybe you'll win the most patriotic runner award. Enjoy one of the most scenic courses on Hilton Head. A portion of the race proceeds and 100% of all donations will go directly to the Semper Fi & America's Fund.

SWAG & AWARDS First 400 runners will receive a Freedom Run 5K race shirt.First 300 will also receive a commemorative Freedom Run Dog Tag.Custom Medals to Overall male and female and top 3 division winners and top 3 Dogs!
12U, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+Special Freedom Run award to overall male & female winners and overall dog finisher.Gift cards to the island best restaurants for the most patriotic dressed participant & family!

 

ENTRY FEE

$35– 5K Run Adult
$25– 5K Run Military and immediate family (must present ID)

$20 – 5K Run Children 12 & under

Stroller friendly. Leashed dogs are always welcome to participate with their owners and compete for top 3 dog finishers.

PACKET PICK UP

Packet Pick up and late registration will be held on Sunday May 28th 2-5PM at Palmetto Running Company, Shelter Cover Towne Center, Hilton Head.  *First 400 runners will receive a Freedom Run 5K race shirt.  The first 300 will also receive a special Freedom Run dog tag. We highly recommend coming to packet pick up on Sunday, May 28th 2-5PM.  Shirt sizes are not guaranteed. There will be NO race day registration.

PARKING

Limited Parking is available on site at the Port Royal Golf Course. Families and friends PLEASE CARPOOL. Follow the signs to the parking area.
