Home Stretch 5K for Homeless Vets

The event supports the mission to eliminate homelessness among veterans in Central Florida. It has provided street-level outreach and comprehensive services since 2008. Participant perks include a cool race shirt and finisher medals for early participants, with medals for placement. There is beer available post-race for participants over 21. The event includes a DJ to enhance the festive atmosphere, and features raffles for all attendees. Awards are granted to the top male and female finishers, top masters, largest team, fastest team, limb-impaired veterans, and top performers in various age groups. Packet pickup and registration are easily accessible.
