KC Pet Project 5K

KC Pet Project hosts an annual 5K race at Swope Park, where participants receive a race bib and medal, with an option to purchase a commemorative t-shirt. The event supports the care of approximately 16,000 homeless and injured pets received by KC Pet Project annually. While the event aims to support animals, participants are asked not to bring pets, except for service animals. Shelter pets will be present along the race route.
