Memorial Day Trail Races - 6 & 12 Miles

Gear up for the challenging Southeastern Trail Series with its more demanding third race. The Memorial Day Weekend Trail Race kicks off at 8:00 AM at the iron gate on the north entrance to Belcher Tract, located off Hwy 280 at Oak Mountain State Park. A parking fee of $5 per person is required at the park entrance, so bring exact change.Active military personnel can participate in the Memorial Day Trail Race for free. This race presents a new course designed to test your endurance even further, with all the details available on our website. Remember, the deadline for guaranteed race shirt registration has passed, but there may still be extras available after your race.

Packet pickup and late registration occur the day before the race, and also on race morning from 6:45 to 7:45 AM at Oak Mountain State Park. Follow the "Race Arrow Signs" for easy navigation. The race features both 6 and 12-mile distances, starting simultaneously at 8:00 AM.

Celebrate your achievements with place awards given as runners finish, recognizing the top three overall male and female participants. Age group accolades include Masters (40-49), Grand Master (50-59), and Ultra Grand Master (60+), along with a special category for athletes 14 and under in the 6-mile event.
