NPSWC March for Sickle Cell 5K Walk/Run

The Neuse Pamlico Sound Women’s Coalition, Inc. is hosting the annual 5K Run/Walk for Sickle Cell, available in both in-person and virtual formats. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for sickle cell disease, which affects over 100,000 people in the U.S. and more than 5,000 patients and families in North Carolina alone. Participants' involvement will help support treatment, transportation, and related challenges for those affected by the disease. The event features awards for top runners in various age groups, and early registration offers discounts and guaranteed T-shirts.
