The PinkStrong Sprint Triathlon begins with athletes completing their swim leg of 500 yds in the award winning indoor YMCA Campy Natatorium Pool, a quick exit will then transition you onto the bike and cycle approximately 10 miles on a monitored open road course with fast flats and a few short scenic climbs/rolling hills, returning to the park you will then move on to complete your final run leg of 2.5 -3 miles trail run..Not ready to Tri & Are You More of a Trail Runner?

Run Course #1: The first run will be a 1.5 mile loop held entirely in the park on the park road and paved path. The course starts out uphill for the first 1/4 miles and a fast downhill will put you on paved trail to complete the run to transition.

Bike Course: The bike course is an approximately 5mile loop on public roads completed 2x. The course has rolling short hills, fast flat stretches and dedicated bike lanes on major roads. BIKE COURSE IS NOT CLOSED TO VEHICLE TRAFFIC. You must use caution and make your own judgement call when turning at each intersection. Police & Volunteers are at the turns to ensure you know where to turn but will not be controlling traffic.

Run Course #2: The second run is entirely in the park using the path.

Transition Area: There will be one transition area near kayak launch on in the grass or bottom parking lot for this event.
Start: We will use a mass start for this event.
Timing: This event will be professionally chip timed! We will be providing race day results at our results kiosk immediately after you finish your race. We will also provide a web link to results that you can share with your family and friends so they can follow your race on their web devices.
Course Support: We will have water and sport drink at the water stations on the run as well as at the finish line. You will have 3 opportunities to hydrate on the run course. The water stations are located approximately at miles .9, 1.5, 2.2. There are no water or food stations on the bike course. We will also have food items and beverages at the finish line area for volunteers and participants only.
Athlete Responsibility: USAT rules state that it is the athletes responsibility to know the course. Please study the map and drive, or even better practice, the course.
