Rose of the Shires Ultra

We are delighted to present the Rose of the Shires Ultra, a picturesque, circular route around Northamptonshire with the support of the local running community. With 54 miles of country trails, roads and towpaths, this epic race will take you through the stunning villages, forests, canals and country parks of Northamptonshire in 2023. The race will be fully tracked and interactive, making planning and logistics easy. You will traverse two country parks, Salcey Forest, the Grand Union Canal and 21 villages and towns, following parts of the Nene Way, the Midshires Way and the Northampton Round, with 6 checkpoints at 6 to 8 mile intervals. We are proud to be an index race for UTMB.
