Run Wild Quarter Marathon, 5K and Kids Fun Run

Awesome Autumn run in beautiful Potawatomi State Park, Door County, WI   Celebrating 36 years of Run Wild.

Take the challenge and run up tower hill in the featured quarter marathon race. Both the 5K and quarter marathon are run on tree-lined park roads closed to traffic in scenic Potawatomi State Park. Park entrance fee is waived on the day of the race until noon.  If you are  unable to make it to the live event you can sign up for the virtual option and still receive the long sleeve Run Wild T-shirt.  Virtual option times are not considered for awards and t-shirts for the virtual option only will be mailed to virtual participants after the event.  All proceeds raised go to support the Friends of Potawatomi State Park projects in the park.

Awards to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each 10-year age division. Awards will not be mailed, must be picked up on the day of the race. There will be a gun start and chip timed finish.  Packet pick-up is at Bay Shore Outfitters, 59 N. Madison Ave. in Sturgeon Bay on Friday, October 6th from 3-7 PM or day of starting at 7:30 AM at the event. Long sleeve T-shirts are guaranteed for all registrations received by September 16th. If you register after September 16th you are not guaranteed a T--shirt but we order extras and may have enough for all.

Pre-registration fees go up on 9-18-2023. Online registration closes at noon on 10-5-2023. You can still register in person at packet pick-up or the day of the run at the event.

Quarter Marathon and 5K both have a gun start promptly at 9:30 AM October 7th, 2023.  A 1/3 mile Smokey Bear run will be held at approximately 10:30 for ages 2-10.  Please wear your bib in front and keep visible for our timers and volunteers at intersections. If you need to change events, we need to know ASAP as results are greatly affected.
