The Center School - Moving Students in the Right Direction - 5K/Fun Walk/Kid's Dash

The Center School is excited to offer a chance for you to participate in our 4rd annual 5k Run/Fun Walk!  This event, "Moving Student's in the Right Direction", is a chance to live up to those very words.  This means helping students achieve their goals and prepare for the future, as well as getting them, and hopefully you, joining us at our 5K. Our 5K Run/Fun Walk will be taking place at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ on Sunday, October 23rd!  This is a chance for students, parents, staff, and families (plus all you newcomers who just like to run) to be active and help make a difference, as all proceeds go to the Center School, where they will be used to promote an active and healthy lifestyle throughout the school year. 

Race check-in and on-site registration will begin at 9:00am on the morning of the race and the 5k will begin at 10:15. The one mile fun walk will commence shortly after at 10:25. Each participant who registers before 10/6 will receive a complementary race t-shirt that they should wear during the race (all others will receive theirs either on race day or shortly afterward). The top three finishers will also be awarded a victory medal!   Light refreshments (water and snacks) will be available for before, during, and after the race. 

Immediately following the race event we invite all of the attendees and their families/friends to join us at Stoney Brook Grille for an additional fundraising event. Stoney Brook Grille has graciously agreed to donate 25% of their proceeds following the event to The Center School. Stoney Brook Grille is located at 1285 NJ-28, North Branch, NJ.
