Timberman Triathlon

**Timberman Triathlon: Minnesota's Premier Destination for Athletes****Race Venue:** Sugar Lake Lodge, Cohasset, MN

Dive into the pristine, turquoise waters of Sugar Lake for a refreshing swim. Cycle through scenic rural county roads, with a rustic charm and newly paved surfaces. Finish strong with a relatively flat run through the resort, encompassing both pavement and some gravel (Olympic course) as you head to the finish line.

**Race Distances**
- **Olympic:** 1 mile swim (1760 yards), 25 mile bike, 6 mile run
- **Sprint:** 1/3 mile (587 yards) swim, 11 mile bike, 3 mile run
- **Super Sprint:** 0.15 mile swim (264 yards), 5.5 mile bike, 1.5 mile run

Grab your friends! Teams of 2 or 3 participants can join the Olympic and Sprint races, while the Super Sprint is reserved for solo competitors.

**Timing**
The event is chip timed, ensuring accurate results, expertly managed by Pickle Events. Comprehensive split results will be available on the Pickle Events website.

**Awards**
- **Olympic and Sprint Individuals:** Awards are granted to 1st-3rd places in each age group, featuring triathlon/sports-related items.

Age categories: 0-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+.

- **Olympic and Sprint Teams:** First place teams in men's, women's, and coed divisions receive awards, revised annually with triathlon/sports merchandise.

- **Super Sprint:** Top-5 overall male and female finishers earn a medal.

**USAT Sanctioning**
The Timberman Triathlon is USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned. Participants need to hold a one-day license or an annual membership to compete. Visit www.usatriathlon.org for more information. All USAT/Duathlon rules apply.

**Registration Fees**
- **Olympic and Sprint:**
- $80.00 plus USAT fees early registration
- $125.00 plus USAT fees closer to race day

- **Olympic and Sprint Team (2 or 3 person):**
- $170.00 plus USAT fees early registration
- $200.00 plus USAT fees closer to race day

- **Super Sprint:** $70.00, exclusive of USAT fees

**About the Event**
The Timberman Triathlon is entirely volunteer-run, powered by over 125 locals and a dedicated team of 30+ race committee members. With race directors Amy and Alan Dettmer at the helm, the event promises a safe and exhilarating experience.
