BIRR Hilo to Volcano 50K Run/Walk/Relay

The Hilo to Volcano 50K Run/Walk/Relay is an annual endurance event featuring a solo ultra run and team relay with a challenging course that gains around 4000 feet in elevation. The event begins at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel and concludes at the Cooper Center in Volcano. There are no aid stations, so participants should bring their own supplies. Prizes are awarded to top finishers across various categories, including solo runners and relay teams. The race provides a light lunch, snacks, drinks, and medals upon completion. Packet pickup occurs the day before and on the morning of the event.
