Boston Firefighters Local 718 10K Memorial Road Race

After going virtual in 2020, we are excited to announce registration for the 2021 10K is now open! We continue to monitor and will adhere to any COVID guidelines put in place by the City of Boston or Commonwealth of Massachusetts, however, at this time, we are extremely hopeful that we will once again be able to gather at Florian Hall this fall!

The Boston Firefighters Local 718 10K Memorial Road Race was established to memorialize the brave members of the Boston Fire Department and Local 718 who courageously gave their lives while fulfilling their duty for the citizens of Boston.

Race day is a celebration of their lives while raising money for the Boston Fire Department Relief Fund. Over the past decade, heart disease and cancer have accounted for the majority of on-duty firefighter deaths. Since 2019, the Relief Fund has made it our mission to “Put Out Cancer in the Boston Fire Department”. All proceeds from the race will benefit our Cardiovascular and Cancer Screening Initiative. If we are unable to gather and host the race in person, we will once again pivot to a virtual race. Refunds and event transfers will be made available to any registrant at that time. We hope to see you in October!
