My daughter and I travelled from the Isle of Man to participate and we had a great experience. Stockholm was extremely welcoming, we loved the City. The 1/2 marathon route was fantastic, great scenery and superb support from a fabulous crowd. The atmosphere was brilliant making the whole event feel special. The organisation was smooth and very well organised. However, I would have preferred a morning start rather than the late afternoon, especially since it was a hot day. Another small suggestion would be to offer small water bottles (like London Marathon) at the water stations instead of cups, which would be easier for runners to manage on the go. Overall it was a very well organised and enjoyable event.

Absolutely FANTASTIC experience! It was 27C during the race and the organization was flawless! We were provided extra water, barrels to dip hats in as well as sprinklers so that everyone (I hope) finished without problems. Will definitely come back!

Amazing course, really well organized! My only recommendation would be to do it the morning and widen some areas as there is some bottlenecks on the path sections. Overall, great race!

Course is beautiful. More hilly than you would think ;)

Nice route although starting in the afgernoon was challenging (and hot!). Lot‘s of drinks and food offered, also nice showers during race (thank you!!). Defintetly not for beginners!! Welly and challenging route, we went uo and down all the time, it was super tough.

It was well organized, had lots of refreshments, and even showers to combat the heat. But it was quite hot and hilly. Definitely not for first timers or setting PRs. I also don't know why it had to start at 3:50pm, the hottest part of the day...

Stockholm is a great city and it was a pleasure to run my first Half-Marathon here. I enjoyed every kilometre of the race and i will gladly come back for more. For those of you who are not ready for a full marathon yet, the Stockholm HM is a great event to attend. The route has an amazing view on the city's beautiful architecture and also goes through some of the parks. The people are joyful and the music bands are cheering you up with the great sound. To organisers: i would like to see in next events: pasta party, event t-shirt, massage at finish, isotonic drinks. Thank you! It was a fun run!

Nice city. Nice half marathon. The race is on Saturday afternoon. There are a lot of people cheering. Start and finish are in front of the castle. The expo is outside and open to everybody. It is very small and poor though.

Very beautiful course with a lot of water stations containing showers, water and barrels to dip your headwear into. The course was easy to follow and the hills didn't feel too bad. The only downside is that some parts of the course were very narrow and ended up becoming bottlenecks. This was especially annoying at 17k, when it coincided with a water station. I also think the runners were too crammed in for way too long before the start, and the water at the start/finish area was elsewhere, making warming up near impossible. But I still had a great time at the end of the day!
