He bested Alejandro GARCÍA TORRES who crossed the finish line 24 minutes 50 seconds behind him. Benjamin RENSHAW (02:57:04) made notched third place. For the women, Pili RAMOS GUANCHE won the race with a time of 03:28:44 , ahead of Teresa LINARES HERNÁNDEZ (03:33:14).
