About the event
The Salisbury Zoo's annual Zoo Stampede 5K, sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, is set for Saturday, April 20, at 9 a.m. The race kicks off from the Salisbury Zoo's East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club). The race will go through the Zoo and along the Salisbury City Park's greenway. The course is primarily along a crushed-stone path. 100% of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Salisbury Zoo.
Participants will receive:

Overall male and female winners will receive a gift certificate for a free pair of shoes from Vernon Powell Shoes.Three age group winners in each category will receive medals. On-site registration will be available for $30 from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
